Kristin Amico's writing career has spanned various media including print, web and TV. She contributes entertainment and dining stories to Providence Monthly, Digitalcity.com, and other food and travel web sites. She puts her financial journalism skills to work for CCBN as a contract writer covering earnings and financial conference calls.

She previously worked as writer and editor at WHDH 7News and Individual.com. At WHDH in Boston she was senior web journalist responsible for content on the entire site. There she used wire copy and news contacts to write and edit national and local stories, as well as breaking news. At Individual.com she was part of the founding team that created the Pagecast, a writing style that combined the tone of a TV news anchor with the interactive qualities of web writing. While at Individual she anchored the Weekend Newspage which delivered readers an offbeat look back at the week in business news.

She began her career as a News Assistant at Business Wire and obtained her BA in Communications and Journalism at Emerson College in Boston, MA.
